No content is stored externally— embeddings are saved in your own WordPress database. ### External services This plugin connects to the OpenAI API to turn your posts into embeddings, which is how it works out which pages are related. It is called when you index or re-index your content, and when suggestions are requested for the post you are editing. The post title and text content are sent for that purpose. No personal data about your visitors is sent, and nothing is sent anywhere else — the plugin talks only to OpenAI, using an API key you supply yourself. Upload the plugin to `/wp-content/plugins/` 2. Activate the plugin 3. Go to **Smart Links Settings** and enter your OpenAI API key 4. Click **🔍 Run Diagnostic** to verify everything works 5. Click **⚡ Re-index All Content** 6. Open any post — the 🔗 icon appears in the Gutenberg toolbar ## FAQ ### Where do I get an OpenAI API key?
