#### Professional popups without a complex builder

BellePopups is a guided popup editor for creating responsive modal windows, announcement
bars, floating banners, side notices, and compact notices without code.

Start with one of 17 practical templates, choose a visual style, and check the result
in the live desktop or mobile preview. Controlled typography, colors, alignment,
and subtle animations make professional results easier without adding a free-form
canvas.

Choose where and when each campaign appears with page targeting, device controls,
date scheduling, triggers and visitor frequency settings.

Accessibility is built into the experience with keyboard-friendly modals, focus 
management, Escape support, reduced motion, and accessible names.

BellePopups is entirely free. It has no Pro tier, locked controls, ads, telemetry,
external fonts, or required external services.

BellePopups does not make its own external requests, does not load its own external
fonts, does not create its own cookies, and does not include its own external tracking.

### Privacy

BellePopups does not send data to external servers and does not create its own cookies.
To avoid showing a closed notice repeatedly, it may use browser local storage with
keys prefixed with `bellepopups_*`.

This storage only remembers that a notice was closed and, when applicable, when 
that close state expires. It does not contain personal data, does not store IP addresses,
does not store emails, and does not identify the visitor.

BellePopups does not include its own external tracking.

### Uninstall

In this version, BellePopups does not automatically delete notices created by the
user when the plugin is uninstalled. This conservative behavior helps avoid accidental
content loss.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `bellepopups` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin from the WordPress Plugins screen.
 3. Open BellePopups from the main admin menu.
 4. Create a popup, review its display rules, and activate it when it is ready.

## FAQ

### What types of notices can I create in this version?

You can create centered popups, top bars, bottom bars, floating banners, side notices,
and compact notices.

### Does BellePopups include templates?

Yes. It includes 17 differentiated templates for common goals such as bookings, 
promotions, email updates, launches, important notices, temporary closures, waiting
lists, contact, and seasonal campaigns. A template always opens as a draft with 
no destination URL or image carried over, so you can review it safely.

### Can I choose where a popup appears?

Yes. You can show it across the whole website, only on the home page, or on selected
locations.

### Can I schedule popups by date?

Yes. You can set an optional start date and end date. BellePopups uses those dates
to decide whether a notice should be displayed.

### Can I show notices only on mobile or desktop?

Yes. Each notice can be shown on all devices, only on desktop, or only on mobile.

### Does BellePopups include analytics or tracking?

No. BellePopups does not include reports, visitor tracking, or its own analytics
dashboard.

### Does the plugin connect to external platforms?

No. BellePopups does not send data to external servers and does not make its own
external requests.

### Does BellePopups create cookies?

No. BellePopups does not create its own cookies.

### Why does BellePopups use browser storage?

BellePopups may use `sessionStorage` or `localStorage` to remember that a visitor
closed a notice and avoid showing it again too soon, depending on the configured
frequency.
