No data is sent to Freemius automatically when the plugin is activated. On first activation you’re shown a one-time opt-in screen with two options — “Skip” or “Allow& Continue” — and nothing is transmitted to Freemius until you make that choice. If you click “Skip”, no usage data is shared and the plugin works fully. If you click“ Allow & Continue”, or if you later connect a license or account from the Account page, the following is sent: your site URL, WordPress and PHP version, this plugin’s version, and (for connecting an account) the name and email of the WordPress user connecting it. No student, teacher, parent, or school data stored by this plugin( results, attendance, admission numbers, PINs, etc.) is ever sent to Freemius or any other third party — all of that stays in your own WordPress database. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/classynt-schools`, or install directly through the WordPress plugin screen. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 3. Go to **School Results Settings** and enter your school’s details. 4. Create a session (e.g. `2025/2026`) and its terms. 5. Create classes and subjects, and assign subjects to classes. 6. Add students — a login PIN is generated automatically. 7. Place `[classynt_result_portal]` on any page, or let the plugin create one for you automatically. ## FAQ ### Do I need a separate account system for students? No. Students authenticate with their admission number and PIN — there is no WordPress user account behind a student. ### Can teachers log in without a WordPress user account? Yes. Staff sign in with a Staff ID and PIN issued by the administrator, and only see the classes and subjects assigned to them. ### How do I stop a student from seeing a result before school fees are paid? This is a Classynt Pro feature.
