What data is sent and when
- Domain registration: When you add your domain, the site URL is sent to create your consent banner configuration
- Banner configuration: The plugin fetches your customized banner settings (colors, texts, layout) from the API
- Consent records: When visitors interact with the cookie banner, their consent choices are sent to the API for compliance record-keeping
- Pageview counting: Anonymous pageview counts are sent to track usage against your plan limits

Installation
Automatic Installation
- Go to Plugins Add New
- Search for “CookiePilot”
- Click Install and then Activate
Manual Installation
- Download the plugin ZIP file
- Go to Plugins Add New Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Activate the plugin
Configuration
- Go to CookiePilot in your WordPress admin menu
- Create an account or log in
- Click “Add this domain” to connect your website
- Customize your banner appearance
- Save and your banner is live!
