Glance That

Beskrivelse

Glance That allows users to customize the content viewable in At a Glance on the WordPress Dashboard. Add/remove items from At a Glance, view status of items, assign custom dashicons, sort the order of glanced items, and quick link to both the Add New content screens and front end post archives. Display of items respects user capabilities. Administrators can apply a glance configuration site-wide to all users or only to new users. Currently, the following items are supported …

  • Brugerdefineret indlægstype
  • Revisions (admins only)
  • Medier
  • Plugins
  • Themes
  • Bruger
  • Site Health Status
  • Data Export Requests
  • Data Removal Requests
  • Gravity Forms
  • Gravity View
  • Formidable Forms
  • Ninja Forms
  • Give Forms
  • Sliced Invoices & Estimates
  • ProjectHuddle Sites & Mockups

Additionally, Glance That allows you to toggle view of the number of items matching the following statuses:

  • Mine
  • Udgivet
  • Afventende
  • Klade
  • Privat
  • Archived (via Archived Post Status)
  • Skraldespand
  • Unattached (Media)
  • Confirmed, Failed, Complete (User Data Requests)
  • Spam (Comments)
  • Active, Inactive (Plugins & Gravity Forms)
  • Updates (Plugins & Themes)
  • Favorites, Recently Active, Must-Use, Drop-Ins (Plugins)
  • Paused Plugins & Themes (when in recovery mode)
  • Good Items, Recommended Improvements, Critical Issues (Site Health)

If you’ve defined custom post state icons via Post State Tags, then Glance that will inherit these.

It’s hard to believe this is not Wordpress core functionality. What a simple plugin that does what it says on the tin. Well done! It’ll be absolutely perfect if we could customize the icons for each custom type too, instead of the bullet point circle. This will make it consistent with the rest of WP setup with custom menus.

Works great (as advertised!), and makes life easier for those who must maintain multiple custom post types. Easy method for visually seeing all pending and posted. Great support as well!

Works as advertised. My favorite part is being able to customize what shows up, including Custom Post Types I create myself.

This is a simple, effective plugin for showing custom post types (of your choice) on the At a Glance part of your dashboard. You could write some code to do it, but why bother when this already exists? (I am having trouble dismissing that little review nag bar, though…)
