This plugin opens external links present in post in a new tab with query string parameter.
Detaljer
- Work with WordPress posts.
- Opens all External links present in a single post in a new tab (target=_blank).
- Add a query string parameter “?rel=outbound” at the end of the hyperlink.
- Links referring within the site are excluded.
Installation
The Plugin can be installed in two ways.
Download and Install
- Download and upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/outboundlinksdirectory from the WordPress plugin repository. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress admin.
Using Plugin Interface
- Open the plugin Interface in the wordpress admin and click on “Add new”.
- In the Search box enter “outboundlinks” and hit Enter.
- Click on “Install” to install the plugin.

Does OutboundLinks modify any file?

No! The plugin does not modify any of your WordPress files.
