I spent an hour looking for an easy way to put a new project in maintenance mode.
Seems like Wordpress should have that built in. Simple Maintenance was the answer
for what I was looking for. Took two minutes to install and active. Easy!

You don't need any fancy-heavy maintenance page plugin when you can use this simple
and ultra light plugin. It is also easy to customize if you want, but the default
is more than enough. Great and free plugin. No ads.

Really simple and to the point. Exactly what I was looking for. I just had to modify
the message and the styles a bit.
