helps you to speed up your site by disabling and removing unnecessary WordPress 
features.

WordPress does not care if you use emoticons or embeds – the corresponding script
is loaded on every page regardless if emojis are visible or not.

With Smart WP you are getting back control over these features and you can speed
up your WordPress site.

Decide on your own which features are loaded and which are not!

**By using Slim WordPress you can:**

 * Disable emoticons
 * Disable embeds
 * Remove shortlinks
 * Remove WordPress’ version number

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/slim-wp` directory, or install
    the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
 3. Use the Smart WP Section in your Backend Menu to configure the plugin
