You must remove/comment the Line 46 in the plugin file: /wp-content/plugins/ tutor/classes/Course.php Then it worked. However it did not actualized the author, it added the author. The many times I changed the author, the many times it kept adding authors. Now the course has multiple authors and I don't know how to fix it. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/4fc6a441ff1aa6a07f54c3bd9fe2135a85b4258c550259bb78c5e4ee32f8c1bc? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[It works!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-works-2017/)󠁿 [buging](https://profiles.wordpress.org/buging/) 8. december, 2020 Could be a five star if editing a core file isn't required 🙂 Also, I had to add' Author' on top of the tutor instructor role. but hey it works! thank you for coming up with this plugin ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/7843481f2c66a3d4b0386b506fcdd4d004ec534d193286fea64db82d97cda1e4? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[You have to remove a line of code](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/you-have-to-remove-a-line-of-code/)󠁿 [Luis Morrison](https://profiles.wordpress.org/luismorrison/) 29. juli, 2020 1 svar You must remove/comment the Line 40 in the plugin file: /wp-content/plugins/tutor/ classes/Course.php in order to be able to save chages, I done myself and it works. dude, this is already clearly stated in the plugin front page. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/28c7c575fddf36e18b65ae1156bbdec7eea55a8d55a8840c6551d4f227082dc2? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[After change the author then click update nothing changed](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/after-change-the-author-then-click-update-nothing-changed/)󠁿 [yamanisa](https://profiles.wordpress.org/yamanisa/) 29. april, 2020 4 svar After change the author then click update nothing changed ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/88356699d3094245176299892501d1d0b927314407d453acc3e3fe078cd10c7a? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Not working](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-working-3241/)󠁿 [micatheleni](https://profiles.wordpress.org/micatheleni/) 28. april, 2020 1 svar I like the idea and the simple approach. The corresponding field for changing the author is displayed, but changes are not saved. Therefore unfortunately useless.
