## Installation

 1. Upload `wc-place-order-without-payment` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
 3. Navigate to Dashboard > Place Order to configure settings

## FAQ

### How do I set it up?

Activate the plugin. Default settings work out of the box, but you can adjust them
from the settings page.

### Does it support latest WooCommerce versions?

Yes, it is tested with recent WooCommerce versions.

### What is the default order status?

Orders are marked as “Processing” by default.

### Can I change the order status?

Yes, you can configure it from the plugin settings.

### What is the Quote feature?

It allows customers to submit orders as quote requests without payment.

### No payment method provided error

 1. Ensure checkout page contains **[woocommerce_checkout]** shortcode
 2. Enable at least one payment method (e.g., Cash on Delivery)

This plugin is perfect for when you want to offer free products to collect customers
information and want to make the order checkout as smooth as possible. I needed 
a few modifications and the customer service was top tier. I definitely recommend
using the pro version

I initially thought this plugin would override the default WooCommerce functionality
that prevents checkout for products with a price of 0. However, this functionality
is not available in the free version of the plugin. All the useful options seem 
to be available only in the Pro version. I am unsure what features are actually 
provided in the free version. It would be helpful if the author could clarify what
the free version includes, as this would benefit others.
