Yandex News Feed is a WordPress plugin that automatically generates an RSS feed 
for the Yandex “Latest and most important news” program. The plugin creates a valid
RSS 2.0 feed with the necessary Yandex extensions and guarantees compliance with
all of the search engine’s requirements.

## Installation

#### Automatic Installation

 1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
 2. Go to **Plugins  Add New**.
 3. Search for “Yandex News Feed”.

#### Manual Installation

 1. Download the plugin archive.
 2. Unzip it into the `/wp-content/plugins/` folder.
 3. Activate the plugin in the admin panel.

#### Configuration

 1. Go to **Settings  Yandex News Feed**.
 2. Select categories to include in the feed.
 3. Configure the feed parameters.
 4. Copy the feed URL to add to Yandex Webmaster.

### What is my RSS feed URL?

After activating the plugin, your feed will be available at: `https://example.com/
feed/yandex-news`

### How do I add the feed to Yandex Webmaster?

 1. Log in to [Yandex Webmaster](https://webmaster.yandex.ru/).
 2. Add your site and verify ownership rights.
 3. Go to **Publisher Center  Latest and most important news**.
 4. Click **Upload feed** and paste the URL.

### Can I exclude individual posts?

Yes, there is an option labeled “Exclude from Yandex News Feed” inside the post 
editor.

### How often is the feed updated?

The feed updates automatically when new posts are published. The cache is automatically
cleared every 5 minutes.

### Does the plugin support images?

Yes, the plugin automatically includes post images in the feed using `media:group`
tags.
