This plugin is fairly basic. It simply disables the post format UI on the edit post screen. There’s nothing fancy here. It just does this simple job.

Installation

Upload disable-post-format-ui to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

More detailed instructions are included in the plugin’s readme.html file.

FAQ

Why was this plugin created?: Some folks don’t want or need the post format UI to show on the edit post screen. This takes care of that.
How do I use it?: Install and activate it. That’s it!
