Klassisk Editor

Beskrivelse

Classic Editor is an official plugin maintained by the WordPress team that restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress editor and the “Edit Post” screen. It makes it possible to use plugins that extend that screen, add old-style meta boxes, or otherwise depend on the previous editor.
By default, this plugin hides all functionality available in the new Block Editor (“Gutenberg”).

At a glance, this plugin adds the following:

  • Administrators can select the default editor for all users.
  • Administrators can allow users to change their default editor.
  • When allowed, the users can choose which editor to use for each post.
  • Each post opens in the last editor used regardless of who edited it last. This is important for maintaining a consistent experience when editing content.

In addition, the Classic Editor plugin includes several filters that let other plugins control the settings, and the editor choice per post and per post type.

Klassisk Editor er en officiel WordPress plugin som vil blive udviklet og vedligeholde indtil mindst 2022.

Make gutenberg a option not a function

WordPress is a content creation tool wonderfull for publisher. It’s not a builder by nature.

We are happy to use wordpress everyday for publishing. If we need special page so we use a builder, its why i sai it should be only a additional editor to activate or not… I dont want create a handwriting draw for each of my pages i will write, gutenberg kill inspirating writing.

If wordpress team decide to continue on this way and maintain guterberg, i will probably convert my posts and use an other plaform. i use wordpress now, not divi builder. if i want use divi builder, i buy and use divi builder…

bad move with Guttemberg

Before changing everything at least give the users the option to do so, the new Guttemberg doesn’t work for me, as for a lot of people.
And now we need to install a plugin to be able to edit in your own editor. Great!

Please keep this

I tried Gutenberg for months on my personal site and can’t stand it. Since WP 5.0 rolled out, I’ve been installing this CLassic Editor plugin on all my clients’ sites when I happen to log into them.
