ForthFocus Atom XML Converter for Blogger™ is a free WordPress to Blogger migration utility for bloggers, content creators, and site owners who want to move published WordPress posts into Blogger.

WordPress exports content in WXR XML format. Blogger uses Atom XML for content import. This plugin bridges that gap by reading a WordPress export XML file and creating a separate Blogger-compatible Atom XML file.

Your live WordPress website is not edited. No posts, pages, settings, themes, plugins, or users are changed. The plugin works inside your WordPress admin and helps you create a converted file that you can test before importing into Blogger.

Privacy first

The conversion runs on your own WordPress installation. Your XML file is not sent to ForthFocus or any third-party server. Temporary files use randomized file names, are downloaded only through a permission and nonce-verified admin route, and are cleaned once they are older than 12 hours through WordPress cron and a built-in plugin fallback. The plugin also creates Apache and IIS directory protection files where supported. On Nginx servers, direct-access blocking should be configured at server level if the host exposes uploads directly.

Roadmap

This free release focuses on reliable published post conversion from WordPress export XML to Blogger-compatible Atom XML.

Planned improvements may include better pre-conversion scanning, stronger skipped-item reports, large file handling improvements, clearer import checks, and better visibility into what the exported file contains before conversion.

Advanced migration features such as pages, comments, media planning, redirects, and internal link handling may be offered through a separate pro plugin or done-for-you migration service as the free version matures.

Roadmap items are shared for transparency. Final features, packaging, and timelines may change based on testing and user feedback.
