A simple, lightweight WordPress plugin to comprehensively hide the version number of your WordPress installation.
The plugin does not require any configuration. Once activated, it will start doing its job.
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/hide-generator-versiondirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress

The plugin does not require any kind of configuration. The WordPress version number will be hidden as soon as the plugin is activated.
