Beskrivelse
onesend routes your site’s outgoing email through onesend, an EU-hosted transactional email service, so password resets, order emails, and notifications are delivered reliably from your own verified domain.
Unlike the common SMTP plugins that relay through US providers, onesend keeps the whole path in the EU: EU infrastructure, EU billing, no US subprocessor. Recipient data auto-deletes on a retention schedule you set, so the plugin is built for GDPR rather than bolted on after. Retention control and DMARC monitoring are included, not paywalled.
You can create a onesend account and connect it without leaving WordPress. The plugin creates an API key for this site, configures sending, and helps you add and verify your sending domain.
Features:
- Create a onesend account or connect an existing one from the plugin
- Automatic API key provisioning for this site
- Routes wp_mail through onesend SMTP (STARTTLS on port 587)
- Add and verify your sending domain, with the DNS records shown in the plugin
- Set a custom From address and name
- Local send log of recent messages
- Test email button
- EU-hosted and EU-billed, no US subprocessor
- Retention control: recipient data auto-deletes on your schedule
Sending requires a verified sending domain. onesend only sends from domains you have verified, which protects your reputation.
External services
This plugin is a client for onesend (https://onesend.eu), an EU-hosted transactional email service operated by WOCOO Management and Consulting GmbH, Austria. The plugin connects to onesend so your WordPress site can send its outgoing email through the onesend API and SMTP relay. Using the plugin requires an onesend account.
The plugin contacts onesend in the following cases, and sends only the data described:
- Signing in or creating an account: your onesend account email, and password, are sent to the onesend API to authenticate and to create an API key for this site. The password is not stored by the plugin; only the returned API key and key ID are stored (obfuscated) in your site options.
- Sending email: when your site sends mail (for example password resets, WooCommerce order emails, notifications, and test emails), the message is transmitted to the onesend SMTP relay (smtp.onesend.eu) for delivery, authenticated with your API key. This includes the recipients, subject, body, and headers of that email.
- Adding and verifying a sending domain: the domain names you enter are sent to the onesend API to generate and check the required DNS records.
- Dashboard status: your account’s sending, trial, and plan status is retrieved from the onesend API to display usage and billing information, and the plugin links to https://app.onesend.eu/settings/billing to manage a subscription.
Data is sent only when you perform these actions or when your site sends email through onesend. onesend operates its sending infrastructure within the European Union.

FAQ
-
Do I need a onesend account first?
-
No. You can create one from the plugin. You will need to click the verification link we email you, then finish connecting.
-
Why is my mail not sending?
-
onesend only sends from a verified domain. Add and verify your site’s domain under the Domains tab, and set a From address on that domain in Settings.
-
Is my password stored?
-
No. Your password is used only to connect, and is never saved. The plugin stores an API key for sending.
