Based on the JavaScript version by Emilio Cobos .
This plugin shows a notice to your users warning them about the use of cookies in your site. It prevents (some) code to store cookies before user consent. It also shows a link to your (mandatory) privacy/cookie policy page.

Installation

  1. Upload \”wp-cookietool\” to the \”/wp-content/plugins/\” directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the \”Plugins\” menu in WordPress.
  3. Configure your settings (Settings -> Wp Cookie Tool).
  4. Create a privacy/cookie policy page and place the [wp_ct-cookie-div] shortcode wherever you please.
